On February 24th, 2012, the Brazosport Birders & Naturalists, The Gulf Coast Bird Observatory, Gulf Coast Wildlife Rescue, Quintana County Park, Quintana Residents, and numerous other
volunteers banded together for the Neotropical Bird Sanctuary Work Day.
Workers laid out a trail with sufficient drainage through the cane field, planted American Elms, Southern Wax Myrtles, and did some much needed trail and pond clean up.
THANK YOU to all who came out and helped!
The park looks beautiful and everyday we see more birds come to enjoy it!
