Area Parks

Xeriscape Park

Achieved through a lease with the Port of Freeport and a grant from Texas Parks and Wildlife, the park offers refuge to many types of wildlife and birds. Freeport LNG came in and donated a whole city block as well as a grant to upgrade and maintain the park. With combined efforts of Town volunteers and FLNG, the new park has water features, walking paths, benches, plants and flowers, and new parking.
